Jesse Deng studies economics and finance at Rotman Commerce and is preparing to continue with an MS in Finance at Fordham University.
Jesse is building a foundation for asset management and markets roles through finance coursework, economics training, and CFA program preparation. His interests sit at the intersection of bottom-up security analysis and top-down macro positioning.

Outside of finance, I enjoy playing alto saxophone, soccer, swimming, and video games. I am a Chelsea supporter, and I also follow the business side of the gaming industry, including video game company mergers, acquisitions, and strategic alternatives. Examples include Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard, reported EA transaction discussions, and the strategic options surrounding Ubisoft.
I am also interested in combining music and technology by building a coding-based page that converts sheet music for alto saxophone, making it easier to adapt, practice, and organize music digitally.
